Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Producer to manage the entire production process of the ABCM Podcast, from pre-production through post-production. The Producer will ensure the highest quality of video and audio recording, oversee the editing process, and create engaging content for social media. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for storytelling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Production:
  • Plan and organize podcast episodes, including topic selection, guest coordination, and script development.
  • Ensure all equipment and software are ready and functioning for recording sessions.
  • Coordinate with the host and guests to confirm schedules and necessary preparations.
  • Production:
  • Manage the recording process, ensuring both video and audio quality are of the highest standard.
  • Oversee the technical setup, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and recording software.
  • Monitor live recordings to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Post-Production:
  • Edit full video and audio recordings to produce polished final episodes.
  • Create engaging clips for social media platforms, ensuring they align with the podcast's branding and messaging.
  • Work closely with the social media team to distribute content across various channels.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in podcast production or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in audio and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Audacity).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Talent Outreach + Scheduling

Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and organized Coordinator to manage talent outreach and scheduling for the ABCM Podcast. This role is crucial in ensuring that all guests are effectively coordinated, scheduled, and prepared for their appearances. The Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from initial outreach to post-episode follow-up.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Outreach:
  • Identify and reach out to potential podcast guests, including influencers, industry experts, and other notable figures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and confirmed guests.
  • Communicate the value and goals of the ABCM Podcast to entice guest participation.
  • Scheduling:
  • Coordinate and manage the scheduling of all podcast recordings.
  • Ensure all guests are aware of their recording dates and any preparatory requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date calendar of all scheduled recordings and related activities.
  • Guest Coordination:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all guests before, during, and after their podcast appearances.
  • Ensure guests have all necessary information and support leading up to the recording session.
  • Manage any special requirements or requests from guests.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in talent coordination, outreach, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and software (e.g., Google Calendar, Calendly).
